Nevada Supreme Court Rule Changes (ADKTs)

ADKT 0464: Order amending the Supreme Court Rules to suspend the Introduction to Practice and Procedure (Bridge the Gap) program and establish the Transitioning into Practice mentor pilot program. Effective 11/16/2011.

ADKT 0472: Order scheduling a public hearing on Dec. 5, 2011, to discuss proposed amendments to NRCP 16.1(a)(2) (disclosure of expert testimony). Comments are due to the Supreme Court Clerk's Office no later than Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011.

ADKT 0468: Order amending the mandatory e-filing rules of the Eighth Judicial District Court Rules. Effective 12/15/2011.

ADKT 0470: Order amending the Criminal Rules of the Second Judicial District Court. Effective 12/15/2011.

ADKT 0471: Order amending the Justice Court Rules of the Las Vegas Township, establishing Rule 48.5 (Mandatory Small Claims Mediation Program). Effective 12/15/2011.

ADKT 0433: Order directing the Nevada Judges of Limited Jurisdiction to develop a curriculum for the training of judges pro tempore. Effective 12/27/2011.

ADKT 0469: Order amending the rules of the Eighth Judicial District Court, including rules 1.90 (caseflow management), 2.14 (Judicial Peview Petitions for the Foreclosure Mediation Program), 2.34 (discovery disputes), 2.90 (dismissal for lack of prosecution) and 7.80 (court intepreters); and adopting rule 2.91 (voluntary dismissal processing). Effective 01/14/2012.

ADKT 0310: Order amending the Nevada Short Trial rules related to authority, trial de novo cases, time for filing demands of removal, size of jury, fees and more. Effective 3/7/2012.

ADKT 0473: Order adopting rules for the Tenth Judicial District Court. Effective 5/18/2012.

ADKT 0474: Order amending Eighth Judicial District Court rule 5.42, regarding departmental assignment procedure. Effective 5/18/2012.

ADKT 0476: Order scheduling public hearing regarding the possible amendment of NRCP rules 16.2, 16.21 and 16.3. Hearing date: 06/04/2012, 3 p.m.

ADKT 0435: Order scheduling a public hearing on July 9, 2012 to discuss amending Assembly Bill 149, which pertains to the adoption of the rules for foreclosure and mediation. Comments are due no later than Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 5 p.m.

Rule changes will be kept on this site for at least six months after effective date.
