Purpose
To provide opportunities for the assimilation of young lawyers into the profession as well as a training ground for future leaders of our bar. YLS membership is open to all attorneys who have been admitted in Nevada for less than five years, or are 36 years old or younger. From mentor programs, to organizing charity events, to networking, to fighting to improve the image of attorneys in general, YLS has a wide array of activities.

Biographies
Paola M. Armeni (Chairperson)
Paola M. Armeni is a senior associate in the Litigation Department-Government Investigations and Business Crimes Group at the law firm of Gordon Silver. Prior to entering private practice, Armeni clerked for the Honorable Joseph T. Bonaventure at the Eighth Judicial District Court in Las Vegas, Nevada. Armeni received her bachelor of science in Justice Studies from Arizona State University in 1998. She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2003. While at Boyd, she served as President of the Student Bar Association and continued to be active with her alma mater upon graduation serving as the first President of the William S. Boyd School of Law Alumni Association. Armeni was honored in 2008 as William S. Boyd School of Law 2008 College Alumni of the Year. She is also active in the Nevada Attorneys for Criminal Defense and is the past president. She has been recognized in the Super Lawyers magazine as a Mountain States Rising Star for the years 2009, 2010, 2011. Armeni recently received the inaugural honor of Young Lawyer of the Year from the State Bar of Nevada.
Jeremy Reichenberg (Chair-Elect)
Jeremy Reichenberg is an associate at Laxalt & Nomura, Ltd. He practices general litigation. Prior to joining Laxalt & Nomura Reichenberg was a Deputy District Attorney in the Lyon County District Attorney’s Office. He was named in Nevada Business Magazine's 2009 Legal Elite issue as one of the 20 Best Government Attorneys for Nevada. Reichenberg received his J.D. from University of Nebraska, College of Law in 2006. He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2006 and the State Bar of Nevada in 2007.
Kendelee Leascher Works (Secretary)
Kendelee Works is an associate at Weide & Miller, Ltd., and focuses her practice on intellectual property and business litigation. Prior to joining Weide & Miller, Works gained experience in indigent criminal defense with the Office of the Clark County Public Defender and practiced at one of Nevada’s premier business litigation firms where she counseled private entities and individuals ranging from local businesses to a national franchise, a governmental agency, real estate developers and professionals and management companies. Works received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2002. She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 2005. While at Boyd, Works served as President of the Student Bar Association, was a member of the Society of Advocates, and graduated in the top third of her class. She also earned third place individual speaking honors at the Philip C. Jessup International Law, Southwest Regional Moot Court Competition. In addition to her role with the Young Lawyers Section, Works is also active with the Southern Nevada, Howard D. McKibben Chapter of the American Inns of Court, which is comprised of judges, attorneys and law professors that are committed to improving the skills, civility and ethics of the legal profession.
Justina Alyce Caviglia
Justina Alyce Caviglia is a civil deputy attorney with the Douglas County District Attorney's Office. She previously worked as a criminal deputy district attorney and clerked for Ninth Judicial District Court Judge David Gamble. Caviglia earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy Analysis with distinction and a bachelor of arts in Spanish with distinction from the University of Nevada in 2003. She earned her Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2006. While in law school, Caviglia served as a representative of the Student Bar Association, served as the president of the Environmental Law Society, and received a Dean's Award. Caviglia was admitted to the State Bar of Nevada in 2006.
Matthew Digesti
Matthew is a founding partner of The Digesti Law Firm LLP. His practice focuses on personal injury, business litigation, appellate, and traditional and digital intellectual property transactions. Since his admission to the State Bar of Nevada, Digesti has gained extensive experience in both the business litigation and appellate practice areas. The firm represents Local 731, Reno's fire fighter union. In this, he has gained valuable experience in employment/labor issues, collective bargaining, and arbitration. Moreover, Digesti's appellate practice continues to blossom with the honor of arguing before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Nevada Supreme Court in 2011. Prior to entering private practice, Digesti clerked for Justice James W. Hardesty at the Nevada Supreme Court. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with an emphasis in intellectual property studies. He received his B.B.A. in Business Economics from the University of San Diego, currently ranked as the 36th best business program in the country, and graduated with an invitation-only induction into Omicron Delta Epsilon, an international economics honor society. Digesti is admitted to practice law in both California and Nevada.
Brian Gonsalves
Brian Gonsalves is an associate with Georgeson Angaran, Chtd, in Reno, Nevada. His practice focus is civil litigation. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1995 and his law degree from the University of Hawaii, School of Law in 2005. While in law school, he earned a CALI Award in Real Estate Development and Finance, the Ruddy F. Tong Memorial Award, and a grant from the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He also volunteered with the Legal Aid Society of Hawaii. Gonsalves is admitted to practice in Nevada and California and is a member of the Washoe County Bar Association and the Tahoe Truckee Bar Association. He is also a prospective board member for Tahoe Women's Services (September 2010), a non-profit organization providing domestic violence and child abuse services to the Tahoe-Truckee area. Prior to attending law school, Gonsalves worked in the field of commercial finance.
Layke Martin Stolberg
Layke Martin Stolberg is the Director of Career Services at the William S. Boyd School of Law. Prior to joining the Career Services Office, Stolberg taught at the Boyd School of Law as an adjunct professor with the Lawyering Process legal research and writing program. Stolberg was also an associate at the law firm Marquis Aurbach Coffing, where she practiced business litigation. Stolberg received her J. D. from Boston University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While at Boston University, Stolberg earned a concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, with honors, and served as President of the Public Interest Project, one of the oldest and largest organizations of its kind in the country, which funds grants for law students working in non-profit and legal services organizations. Stolberg received a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2002.
Michael Lee
Mike Lee is an associate with Kravitz, Schnitzer, Sloane & Johnson, Chtd., working primarily in the areas of Commercial/Consumer Law, Insurance Defense, and Civil Appeals. He currently sits on the Fee Dispute Arbitration Committee for the State Bar of Nevada, and is the former President of the Boyd School of Law Alumni Association. In 2009, Super Lawyers magazine selected Lee as a "Rising Star" in the Nevada Legal field. Lee earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Boyd School of Law, and externed with the Clark County Public Defender's Office and United States District Court (then Chief) Judge Philip M. Pro. He earned his B.A. in psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. There, he was an Associate Student Justice for the Judicial Counsel, and a member of the Sigma Nu Fraternity. Lee is admitted to practice in Nevada, California, and before the United States District Court, District of Nevada and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit.
Tabitha Fiddyment (Ex-Officio Budget Officer)
Tabitha Fiddyment is a Partner of the Firm in the Government Affairs Department and focuses her practice in the areas of administrative law, land use and zoning. She joined the firm in 2002. Fiddyment represents local and national developers with respect to all issues relating to the use and development of land in Nevada. She regularly appears before the various elected and appointed officials representing clients with respect to land use entitlements, development agreements, inter-local agreements and related land use issues. Since 2002, Fiddyment has appeared on hundreds of separate occasions at council, commission and board meetings gaining approvals for the development of residential, high-rise, mixed-use, commercial, industrial, gaming and master-planned communities.
